The Union is seeking qualified local candidates for the position of District Coordinators based at Hazaribagh (Jharkhand)

The post holder will report to Technical Officer-Project Axshya

Travel: As necessary within the duty station.

Terms of Reference: District Coordinator

• To adhere to program and financial guidelines framed as per Project Axshya by the Organization.

• To conduct and coordinate district level activities.

• To monitor the sub district level activities.

• To represent the Organization and Project Axshya stakeholders.

• To coordinate with the District TB Officer and other RNTCP staff in planning and implementation of the project activities. Build enabling relationship with MOs, LTs, STLs, NGOs, CBOs, DMCs and TUs.

• To organize quarterly meeting with RHCPs, Health Staff (MO, LT, etc) for co-oridnation of referral and follow-up

• To coordinate and organize district level activities like training of RHCPs on program and use of mobile application.
• To train Health Staff on use of mobile application and coordinate sub district level activities like follow-up with referrals, TB patients, defaualter, etc.

• To conduct trouble shooting of mobile or mobile application at the local level – downloading, data entry hands-on, SMS, and others as desired in the project.

• To prepare the budget and monitor expenditure as per the plan of activities.

• Ensure verification and timely submission of bills and other supporting documents to the headquarters for processing.

• Ensure timely disbursement of funds to the implementing partners in the districts.
• To design the programs through weekly and monthly meetings for the project area.

• To monitor the program on indicators and prepare weekly & monthly reports of the project and submit to Focal Point Person.

• To maintain the documents of the project as per the guidelines and extend support to the Program Management Unit.

• Regular update on use of Mobile Application developed by The Union with support from Dimagi
• Any other assignment as and when required as part of project Axshya.

Qualifications and experience:

• Master Degree in Social Work is essential.

• 2-3 years work experience of working in health/development projects at the district/state level.

• Speak and write English and Hindi.
• Knowledge of computers and MS office.

• Experience with Android phone management like trouble shooting, software management, etc. will be advantages
