International federation which is active in more than 40 countries across the
world and is committed to fighting poverty and injustice. In India, we have
been working since 1972. We currently operate out of 12 Regional Offices
spread across 24 States and 1 Union Territory.

Duties and Responsibilities
|
• Develop and implement innovative and
effective communication strategies.
• Provide necessary support required from Communications in developing various reports, documents, designing and printing of internal publications, posters, presentations, films etc. for various occasions / meetings. • Strategic direction for editorial content of communications in line with campaign, programme and policy objectives in order to ensure quality media communications. • Develop, communicate, implement and monitor the “Identity Building Strategy” of ActionAid Association in line with the organisations CSP and support the identity management plan. Ensure that all the work that is published through various units, regions and hubs are in line with the overall guidelines, while giving space for local and regional cultural expressions • Be responsible for annual report publication from the Communications Unit. • Manage the internal communications of ActionAid Association effectively. • Generate necessary Support and linkages with ActionAid International and Members of the Federation consistently. • Identify stories and issues that best highlight ActionAid’s programme, fundraising, policy and campaign objectives to push to local, regional, national and international media. • Develop a digital media communication plan for ActionAid Association that is in line with the overall identity management plan of the organisation. • Provide strategic and innovative inputs for the development of the ActionAid Association website and use of new media tools to communicate and engage the public and key stakeholders/ partners / KA-Hub forums in ActionAid Association’s strategic objectives, activities and achievements. • Establish and maintain good relations with target media contacts, other stakeholder groups including regional offices, Knowledge Activist Hubs, academicians, NGOs, other civil society action groups in order to achieve the campaign, programme and policy objectives in India. • Work closely with ActionAid Association Regional Offices and identify communication gaps, build capacities and systems to increase the quality and quantity of content flow about ActionAid programmes, campaigns and public activities throughout India. • Provide strategic communications advice to the ActionAid Association Regional Offices. • Integrate communications strategies with Indian fundraising and marketing projects and initiatives to ensure optimal use of all communications channels available to ActionAid in India. • Hold financial accountability of the Communication Function for ActionAid Association. • Effective team building and line management of the Communications team for ActionAid Association. • As an SMT (Senior Management Team) member, to participate in all SMT meets and provide necessary inputs and support in furthering the mission of the organization. |

Approx -
INR 9.66 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)– per annum - this includes PF contribution.
In addition, other benefits - Group Medical

organisation.
