• Strong managerial skills
• Ability to conceptualize legal issues
• Ability to work in team – work with team of 5 to 6 program managers each having their own team
• Travel extensively
• Ability to Convert social issues into legal intervention
• Ability to Design and Conduct legal Research
• Ability to Design and Conduct Training Programs
• Ability to Document, write reports, project proposal
• Ability to Manage program (Skill of planning, executing and reviewing programs)
• Knowledge of law and procedure
• Ability to delegate responsibilities and guide team
• A basic understanding of how to work with CBO, Networks and Funders
Job Description:
• Designing legal interventions for the organization
• Designing and anchoring legal researches/studies
• Networking with Stakeholders (judiciary, government, funders and other civil society) for advocacy
• Representing organization at Advocacy forums
• Spearheading the program of the organization
• Designing and facilitating training programs within organization, with networks and partners
• Mentoring and Facilitation
• Donor management
• You will report to Executive director
• 5-6 program managers will be reporting to you
