BACKGROUND: Strategic Alliance Management Services P Ltd. (SAMS) is

3. JOB DESCRIPTION/ RESPONSIBILITIES:
Multiple
vacancies exist for mid and junior level Recruitment Consultants, to support recruitment assignments
for the development and public health sectors.
The job
provides opportunities for team work, innovation, assuming early leadership
responsibilities and interacting with the country’s leading, not-for-profit
organizations, as well as, development and public health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
(1)
Developing vacancy notices based on job profiles
(2) Posting vacancy announcements on job portals on the internet and social media
(3) Sourcing talent using a range of outreach, networking and research techniques
(4) Developing and applying sophisticated screening and assessment tools
(5) Screening/ shortlisting eligible candidates
(6) Conducting interviews, written tests, group exercises and other assessments
(7) Supporting our payrolling division, especially in the area of attrition management
(8) Suggesting and implementing strategies for business development
(9) Supporting the development and maturing of proposals for the delivery of recruitment support services
(10) Coordinating/ interacting with clients to understand and address their requirements.

4. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND
COMPETENCIES:
Qualifications:
MBA and/or Post Graduate Diploma/ Degree in HR/ Personnel/ Management/ Social Sciences, from a reputed institution.
Experience:
(1) One to two years prior exposure to the HR function with emphasis on recruitment, is essential
(2) Prior exposure to the development or public health sectors, shall be an advantage
(3) Applicants with a business development orientation to recruitment consulting, especially prior experience of responding to institutional EOIs and RfQs, are also urged to apply.
Skills:
(1) Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
(2) Management Skills: Customer focus and responsiveness; Maintaining quality and performance standards under stringent deadlines; Generating high quality reports and presentations
(3) Interpersonal Skills: Positive work attitude; Integrity and honesty; Excellent listening skills; Desire to learn and value-addition
(4) Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
The job
entails periodic travel in the context of recruitment projects.
5. COMPENSATION OFFERED:
SAMS benchmarks staff salaries with progressive
employers in the social sector. The salary offered shall be commensurate
with the qualifications, experience and salary history of the selected
candidate.
