SHARE India is a not for profit society registered in 1986 under the AP Public Societies Registration Act. Presently, SHARE is implementing a project that provides technical assistance to Department of AIDS Control (DAC) for human capacity development. The project is funded by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). 


About the project:

The DAC has established District AIDS Prevention and Control Units (DAPCUs) in 189 high priority districts during NACP-3 to provide programmatic oversight. SHARE is currently engaged in providing technical assistance for strengthening DAPCUs in collaboration with DAC and State AIDS Control Societies (SACS). The support is managed by DAPCU National Resource Team (DNRT).
SHARE invites highly motivated professionals for the following positions:

National M & E Officer

i.             Responsible to provide support to the National DAPCU Coordinator and Regional Coordinator (RC) in North on data monitoring, analysis and sharing with the states.
ii.             Work with the RCs in collection, compilation and analysis of the DAPCU monthly reports and share the update with National DACU Coordinator.
iii.             Support RC and National DAPCU Coordinator for integrating the DAPCU monthly reporting in SIMS and ensure its implementation,
iv.             Responsible for training of DAPCU staff on data compilation, analysis and matters related to M&E like spatial maps and SIMS,
v.             Be responsible for developing need based program monitoring tools for data collection.
vi.             Support the RCs and other team members in capacity building of the DNOs in the use of data for decision making.
vii.             Responsible for data validation of the data received through DAPCU monthly reports
viii.             Support RCs with preparatory work for guiding DAPCUs in preparation of need- and context specific District Annual Action Plan 
ix.             Maintain DAPCU related repots, updated data and ensure its availability for the program,
x.             Compilation and analysis of the data on HR status, commodity supply and self- assessment reports of DAPCUs etc.
xi.             Coordinate with Senior Program Manager at SHARE and National DAPCU Coordinator in DAC, providing data for documenting good approaches and success stories,
xii.             Make need based field visits as approved by DAC to support the RCs,
xiii.             Support National DAPCU Coordinator in preparation of monthly reports related to DAPCU activities.
xiv.             Any other programmatic work assigned by DAC and/or SHARE

Qualifications and Experience 

Essential:

1)             Post Graduate in the field of Demography/ Statistics/Bio-Statistics/social sciences.
Minimum 5 yrs experience in M & E in the field of Health/ HIV/AIDS, Development/ Maintenance of MIS, Training etc.

Desirable:

1. Advance course in computer application from an institute of repute
2. Knowledge of statistical analysis and report writing
3. Past experience of working in HIV/AIDS program or projects under government or bilateral/ multi-lateral agencies in India
Remuneration: Rs. 65,000 /- per month all inclusive (negotiable)
Reporting Officer: DAPCU Coordinator, DAC, Delhi
Duration: Initial contract shall be for one year.  
Place of Posting: New Delhi 

M & E Officer, Hyderabad

i.             Be responsible to provide support to the SPM and/or RC on data monitoring, analysis and sharing with the states.
ii.             Work in close coordination with the RCs in collection, compilation and analysis of DAPCU monthly reports and update the Senior Program Manager /National Coordinator regularly.
iii.             Support RCs and Senior Program Manager (South) for integrating the DAPCU monthly reporting in SIMS and ensure its implementation
iv.             Be responsible for developing need based program monitoring tools for data collection.
v.             Support the RCs and other team members in capacity building of DNOs on use of data for decision making.
vi.             Be responsible for validation of data received through DAPCU monthly reports
vii.             Support the RCs/ Senior Program Manager in guiding the DAPCUs in District Annual Action Plan preparation for on data collection and compilation
viii.             Maintain DAPCU related repots, data and ensure its availability for the program
ix.             Compilation and analysis of data on HR status, commodity supply and DAPCU self- assessment reports etc.
x.             Coordinate with documentation officer providing data for documenting good approaches and success stories
xi.             Make need based field visits to support the RCs
xii.             Support SPM south and RCs in preparation of monthly reports of the DAPCU strengthening activities

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

Reporting Officer: Senior Program Manager, Hyderabad

Regional Coordinator (2positions) – Guwahati (NERO) and Mumbai

The Regional Coordinator (RC) will function under the direct supervision of the DAPCU Coordinator. The broad job responsibilities of the position are:
i.      Coordinate with the DNO and other component officers in SACS for context-specific program planning, and implementation and monitoring of the activities
ii.     Enhance DNO’s capacity for effective management of DAPCU portfolio
iii.    Facilitate for DAPCUs capacity development
iv.    Support SACS in establishing responsive systems for DAPCUs monitoring and provide oversight
v.     Promote innovations, document and submit various program documents and reports
vi.    Advocate with the district and state leadership for mainstreaming HIV activities
vii.   Support in implementing or managing any activities as advised by DAC or SACS

Qualifications required:

•         Masters in Social Sciences or public health or medical graduates
•         3-5 years’ experience working with public health programs at state level
•         Strong in capacity building and systems strengthening
•         Proven skills in program monitoring, data analysis and interpretation
•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the regional language
•       Good government coordination and representation
•         Strong in negotiation and problem solving skills

Remuneration: Rs. 55,000 /- per month consolidated (negotiable)
Reporting Officer: DAPCU Coordinator, DAC, Delhi
Duration: Initial contract shall be for One Year. Subsequent re-contracting will be based on performance.
Place of Posting: Guwahati and Mumbai
Preference will be given to regional candidates in the states, where vacancies are announced.
