A. POSITION PURPOSE: 
This position is responsible for developing software solution for online data management of 3SI programme. 

Work under the supervision of Senior Manager Research, the Software developer/Information technology Consultant will co-ordinate with all the programmes teams to develop requisite software identify needs and plan solutions for software and hardware requirements. 

B. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop software to capture online real time MIS data and data analysis
• Maintain MIS real time data entry and online analysis software
• Troubleshoot all technology issues
• Make recommendations about requirement and purchase of technology resources
• Research current and potential resources and services provide IT solutions to programme
• Provide orientation and training on IT use and application of existing software in use to required staff
• Provide network access to all staff 
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance
• Develop policy and procedures for electronic data sharing and maintenance
• Develop and implement policy for data safety
• Coordinate with managers to discuss system requirements, specifications, costs and provide suggestions and required support
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

C. QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

D. Bachelor in Computer engineering/post graduate in computer science/computer application
E. 5 years of work experience in software development online data management and management of networks

G. Proficient in the use of computers, openness and adaptation to new technology, ability to learns new programs quickly

H. Generates new ideas, promote innovation, solves problems creatively

I. Ability to handle multiple projects with different level of staff
