The Position: Program Associate

The person will be responsible to give administrative assistance to the team that supports RMNCH+A program implementation in the six states and contribute in meeting National/ State level priorities and plans. The incumbent should have experience of working in development sector preferably in an organization that has projects in Reproductive, Maternal, Child or Adolescent Health. This position might require some travel to the concerned states/field areas of JSI, This Position is based in Delhi and reports to the Senior Technical Advisor

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person will assist
1. The program team to collate the required info from other members to prepare Project Plans.
2. In Documentation/data collection of project related information and reporting as required for both internal and external audience.
3. In desk review of program progress and individual performance.
4. In maintain and update of database on RMNCH+A
5. Maintaining and updating records related to the program coordination with different state teams and logistical support.
6. Recording of minutes of meetings, drafting routine correspondence and maintenance of files/ records.
7. The team to coordinate with state/ district teams and other stakeholders
8. To organize the meetings/conferences/ workshops by coordinating effectively with all teams.
9. The team for timely submission of timesheets/ expense reports.
10. In procurement process for program contracts.
11. Any other specific task assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 

• Graduate from any discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant area of work in a professionally managed organization
• Experience of working in a Team and in program management support is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi

REMUNERATION

The candidate will be offered a consolidated annual package based on the work experience and salary history. This remuneration will be taxable as per Indian law.
