Accounts Officer - Dehradun

WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications from candidates with an inherent sensitivity towards the conservation of nature and excellent financial skills, to join our Dehradun Field team as an Accounts Officer.

Location: Dehradun (Uttarakhand)

The Job Profile:
1. Assist in financial and accounting matters as well as administrative work of the Dehradun office.
2. Ensure that all the financial and accounts procedures are followed and cash book, logbooks, stock register etc. are correctly maintained at every level.
3. Maintain expenditure reports as per the activities in the work plan and keep a track with the budget amount and submit the monthly reports to Secretariat.
4. Facilitate and coordinate workshops and campaigns organized by the programme office from time to time
5. Assist with programme work when needed and any other assignment as requested by the organization.

Qualifications, Experience and competencies required:
• B.Com/ M.Com /Diploma in Accounting
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience with a reputed organization/ institution.
• Knowledge of Tally version 9 and other accounting softwares. Proficiency in financial ERP shall be an added advantage.

Desired Skills and Abilities:
• Capable of multi-tasking on financial and administrative issues.
• Proactiveness and the ability to work independently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skill (both verbal & written).
