Duties and Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:-
    • Monthly submission of accounts and maintenance of accounting system for ActionAid Association and other related units, wherever applicable.
• Recording data entries in the financial management system, AccountSmart, on a daily basis.
• Preparation of quarterly and annual Utilization Reports for donor based projects and adhering to the financial procedures of donors, wherever applicable.
• Management of cash and bank payments of Regional Office and work as custodian of the organizations financial policies and procedures.
• Managing advances and planning cash flows for Regional Office and report status of staff advances to HR on a monthly basis.
• Settling payments for vendors and suppliers and meeting statutory compliances.
• Preparation of monthly MIS report and sharing with regional team.
• Managing utilizations of the partners and submission of disbursement requests to Country Office.
• Enhancing capacity building of the partners by regularly conducting trainings.
• Assisting Country Office by participating in Appraisals and Reviews.
• Recording partner’s utilizations in the AccountSmart and submit to Country Office Finance regularly.
• Representing as resource person in other regions capacity building programme with partners.
• Advising regional program staff during Plans and Budget (P&B) and attending P&B meetings.
• Ensure that all partners are financially reviewed atleast once every year and share report with Regional Manager and Director Finance.
• Participating and representing finance in PRRPs and share report with Director Finance.
• Assisting Country Office during Internal Audits and External Audits.
     • Reviewing partners audit reports and follow up on compliance reports and share status with Director Finance regularly.
• Maintenance of fixed assets and conduct physical verification and keep insurance records update and update Country Office Finance Team.

Skills and Competencies
The ideal candidate will be a Post Graduate in Commerce with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience. S/he will be responsible for fund management, disbursements to partners, finalisation of accounts, taxation and audit. S/he should have effective communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
Salary Offered
Approx -INR4.73 Lakhs CTO (Cost to Organisation)– per annum - this includes PF contribution.
In addition, other benefits - Group Medical Insurance with coverage of Staff & Dependents; Personal Accident Insurance of staff and gratuity is payable as per law and norms of the organisation.
